Life experience in 40 days

When I returned home and prayed after receiving the chemotherapy on the first day, God gave me a challenge; that is, He wanted me to wait for Him in prayers for 40 days. He promised to give me a breakthrough in my life and today happens to be the 40th day. Last evening, two sisters in Lord came to visit me and pray for me in my place. One of them came with a song, saying that this was the song God gave me. To my surprise, this song reverberated in my dream in the midnight. It was amazing! This can also reflect what my heart had been thinking while waiting for God within these 40 days.

Who has promised not to desert me throughout my life
Who walked with me on every stretch of narrow road
Who even led me to lie on the still green grass
His grace is even more plenty than the sand on the beach
Who has promised to look after me day by day
Showing love and care day and night and has even counted my hair
Who has also driven away my inner fear and cowardice with love
Why would I fear of the potential whirlpool on the journey
As you are my Lord my refuge
My shield and my song
You are my fortress My timely help
Come in faith let’s sing songs of praise
You are always in my heart
Only in You is there an eternal river
I will not trust in any others apart from You
Who am I for you Lord to show such great mercy and love upon
